Recently, the North Dakota Legislature passed a law relating to the regulation of indoor tanning facilities. The following describes areas of direct effect to you.

AGE REQUIREMENTS TO TAN IN AN INDOOR FACILITY

A customer under 18 years of age may not be permitted to use a tanning facility until the customer provides the facility with written consent by a parent of legal guardian. We will require this consent be signed in person on our premises. In addition, a customer under the age of 14 years may not be allowed to utilize a tanning device at a tanning facility without a written order from a physician licensed in this state and without being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for every use of the tanning facility.

WAITING PERIOD BETWEEN INDOOR TANNING SESSIONS

A customer is not allowed to use a tanning device more than once every 24 hours.
